A jeepney passenger was shot and killed by an armed suspect inside a public utility vehicle Wednesday morning, July 4.
The shooting transpired around 8 a.m. along Tahimik Drive in Balusong Matina.
The suspect reportedly flagged down the jeepney and seconds after shot the victim.
Passengers of the full-packed jeepney scampered to safety as the suspect alighted and rode a waiting motorcycle.
The shooter was said to be wearing a cover on his face.
The victim was later identified as a certain Jomar Coral, 25 years old, single a construction worker.
The victim died on the spot after he was shot 8 times by the riding in tandem.
Jomar Coral, was celebrating his birthday today when killed.
