President Rodrigo Duterte may have skipped the official celebration of the National Heroes Day on Monday, August 26, but he nevertheless paid his respects to our heroes by visiting Libingan ng Mga Bayani later in the day.
Photos released by the Presidential Photo Division of Malacañang showed President Duterte lighting a candle in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Duterte also paid his last respects to Second Lieutenant Geroe Nicor as he visits the wake at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City.
